We received so many awesome submissions for our Lucky Lady Warrior Contest! I truly wish I could invite all of you to come to the retreat!!
I have selected the lucky lady that is going to be gifted a spot at our upcoming Unplug for Self Love Retreat in May. As many of you know, I recently lost a dear friend, Angela, to cancer. She was the very first person to register for the retreat and was so excited to attend. The universe had other plans and she passed before making it out to the Pacific Northwest, so we really wanted to honor her at the retreat.
We decided to award her spot to one deserving woman and let me tell ya .... this woman definitely falls under that category! I just know Angela is looking down and is so happy that we are doing this in her honor and that this awesome woman is able to have her spot.
So who is this lucky lady? Drum roll please .......... A BIG congratulations to Paulina Dickinson!
I met Paulina in my life coaching course and was instantly drawn to her loving energy and cool funky pants. Over the course of the next 6 months, I learned more about Paulina and the more I learned, the more I stood in awe of her. She has been through a lot and yet she still continues to give and give and give. Everyone who is in her life, is so blessed!
Another fellow life coach and friend, Cynthia Hernandez, nominated her and I would like to share with you her nomination ...
"I nominate Paulina Dickinson for the Lucky Lady Warrior Contest. Paulina is one of those women who do so much for other people that it’s easy for her to lose sight of taking care of herself. As a wife and mom to four sons, Paulina has spent many years putting others first. It’s in her nature. Speaking of nature, Paulina loves nature, having grown up in Southern California, she worshipped the natural beauty afforded by the surf and sun, flora and fauna of the area. In her adult life, she took the magic and alchemy of the nature around her and found a way to help others through wildcrafting - the art and science of mixing plants and herbs for their most beneficial and healing properties. She currently does this using the business name, Under the Purple Flower Tree, a name that pays homage to a tree whose purple blossoms enchanted Paulina and her sisters while they were growing up together under the shelter of its beauty.
In 2016, just after embarking on a journey of spiritual growth and professional evolution, Paulina enrolled in Seattle Life Coach Training, and later that same year, Paulina’s dear mother died, opening a galaxy of emotions. In processing through that, Paulina and her sisters ventured back to California in search of the proverbial shade and comfort of the Purple Flower Tree. In the days and months that followed, Paulina has continued to grow and evolve, and with that comes growing pain and sometimes feelings of overwhelm and exhaustion. As she as has continued to be there for everyone else, she has also been facing her own health scare and finding it, well, scary.
The good news is that she’s healthy and on the precipice of a new beginning. She never said quit and earned her life coaching certificate despite personal heartache and loss. This retreat would be just the thing to help her leap into the mystical breach of possibility with faith and gusto, knowing that she’ll be surrounded in good company, the loving embrace of like-minded souls, and will come out of the weekend retreat feeling more empowered, grounded, centered, and recognizing more fully her own wisdom and grace. I think Paulina is just the sort of Warrior Woman that Angela would have enjoyed in life and would be happy to see bless her spiritual presence. I nominate Paulina Dickinson and send love and blessings to all of the nominees. I know it will be an amazing and fulfilling retreat for all."
Thank you for such a beautiful nomination Cynthia! I could not be more thrilled to invite Paulina to our retreat! Get ready to connect with nature, yourself and other amazing women girl!
